First love letter…sweet innocence

Ava, my five year old got her first love letter today at school…a tiny slip of paper..:). Luckily the sweet boy belongs to one of my best friends and I love him too!

Rain Rain…go away!

Unless its warm summer rain…I’m not a fan! Sunshine is about as essential for me as food. If I were Gods secretary, I would pencil in rain for nighttime(when we are asleep, which is cozy) and only enough to keep our rivers flowing and crops growing! I hear Seattle is a beautiful place but no thanks! Now, Ava on the other hand LOVES rain! She would run around in it jumping puddles and trying to catch drops on her tongue all day if I would let her. I had to say no this time due to the 39 deg temps and compromise with some hot cocoa with sprinkles, whipped cream and a  Valentine marshmallow floating on top!
